Today, a Toscano Law Group client who was accused of campus sexual assault and a Title IX violation at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Virginia was ruled "Not Responsible."

Our client, J.C., a male student, was cleared by the school after we were hired to represent him in the process.

Title IX attorney Jana Nattermann who represented J.C. said, "We're thrilled with today's outcome. With these accusations no longer hanging over our client's head, he can focus on finishing his college education."

At Toscano Law Group, we work with men and women, as well as victims and those accused of violating Title IX.

It’s helpful to have seasoned attorneys – former prosecutors and certified sexual assault investigators – at your side in the event the complaint eventually goes to a hearing. And our firm holds the distinction of being one of the very few, if only, in Virginia with an attorney who was a Title IX deputy coordinator at a Virginia university and managed university investigations and Title IX hearing panels. This inside knowledge of the process gives our clients a leg up in their cases.

Beyond Title IX, our attorneys are very familiar with college and university processes, having represented clients in university employment actions as well as serving as past counsel to one university’s campus police force. Find out if we practice Title IX cases at your college or university
